A little group, with big ambitions.
The Great Yorkshire preservation Group is a group that currently focuses on buses with ties to Yorkshire. Every current member vehicle was built in Yorkshire, for Yorkshire. It is a small group of predominately bus preservationists looking to bring a new, integrated preservation group.

Where it all started.
EYMS 486 and First 53035 are both buses that have been in preservation for a small number of years now. The owners of both vehicles have attended rallies and events along side one another plenty of times. When SYT 41 became available the chance was jumped upon by the owner of 486. At this point he formed a group for his two ,Yorkshire linked buses. Within hours of the group being formed , the group gained the third group vehicle , First 53035. Having another Yorkshire bus in the group was obviously good news. The retrospective vehicle owners and their buses (buses separately owned but brought together by the group) now work together aiming to bring events to the bus preservation scene.
